SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the superior number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme SRD [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The assistance position created for intervention experiences a higher influx sassa of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and maximize use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
